Healthier Together: A Pathway to a Better World - Slowing the Spread of Dengue Fever

The worsening climate change contributes to the rise of heat-related diseases, including dengue fever which has evolved from a tropical disease to a global public health threat. To illustrate the real-life impact of dengue, "Healthier Together: A Path to A Better World" mini-documentary series - developed in consultation with the WHO Foundation and produced for them and their partners by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions – which spotlights solutions for dengue prevention and features real-life stories from Indonesia. Key Message Why dengue is on the rise due to climate change, along with urbanization and the need for sustainable solutions. This video will be launched by BBCSW on 23 April 2024.
