Youth Mental Wellbeing Fund 2.0: Scaling Community-Led Mental Health Solutions

Information

The Youth Mental Wellbeing Fund 2.0 is AVPN’s flagship initiative to address the deepening youth mental health crisis across Asia. In partnership with EMpower and Dalberg Advisors, this fund will strengthen community-driven solutions in five key markets: India, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Hong Kong. Building on learnings from the Fund’s first round, YMWF 2.0 introduces two strategic shifts: 1. A deeper focus on community-based care, empowering trusted local actors 2. An intersectional lens, integrating mental health within broader development goals. With an aim to mobilise USD 5 million, the Youth Mental Wellbeing Fund 2.0 will support locally led interventions that not only prevent and treat mental health conditions but also enhance long-term wellbeing and resilience. We invite funders, corporates, and ecosystem partners to join us in transforming how mental health is addressed in Asia—building a stronger, more coordinated and inclusive support system for our youth. Please reach out to us if you are interested in partnering with us as an anchor funder to shape YMWF 2.0, particularly to: 1. Provide initial capital investment to establish the Fund’s operations; 2. Offer strategic guidance on fund allocation and prioritization to maximize systemic impact; 3. Leverage networks to help the Fund scale and sustain its efforts over the long term;
