Information
The Centre for Knowledge & Development (CKD), a Section 8 not-for-profit company headquartered in New Delhi, was established in 2013 and is registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). It builds on more than two decades of IPE Global’s development experience to address complex and persistent challenges in India’s social sector.
CKD’s operating philosophy is anchored in the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)—ensuring that no one is left behind. Guided by a clear vision and mission to create a world where women, adolescents, and children thrive, CKD works to advance equitable access to health, nutrition, education, 21st-century skills, climate resilience, digital inclusion, and employment.
Over the years, CKD has emerged as a sectoral leader on issues affecting women, adolescents, and children, leveraging cross-sectoral strategies and evidence-based approaches to deliver lasting impact. It collaborates closely with stakeholders at national, state, district, and local levels to co-design and implement sustainable, government-led service delivery systems
