There is an important shift happening in the philanthropic landscape in India and across the Asia region largely- a growing next generation of philanthropists who are developing their own investment portfolio(s), presence, and carving out innovative pathways to move more capital towards impact. Crucial to this movement are the philanthropists themselves as they take on a heavy mantle and ensure its sustained efforts for the future. In doing so, it is important to understand the new generation’s motivations, their ethos with philanthropy and social investments, and how they envision fostering impact within their spheres of operation and influence. Through this session, we hope to engage with two of India’s leading Now and Next generation philanthropists and understand their approach to social impact.
