Philanthropic Leadership for Women’s Economic Empowerment (Closed Door)
Information
This closed-door convening brings together funders committed to advancing women’s economic empowerment (WEE) across Asia. Against the backdrop of persistent gendered financing gaps, this session offers a space for philanthropic leaders to exchange insights, identify collective priorities, and strengthen their strategic role in enabling women’s workforce participation - with a focus on India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.
Participants will explore the mission of the new WEE Funder Leaders Cohort, share key challenges and lessons, and shape the broader direction of this two-year learning journey. Delegates will leave with deeper clarity on the cohort’s vision, shared objectives, and pathways for co-investment and influence.
Key Takeaways:
- Identify shared priorities and opportunities to advance women's economic empowerment across Asia
- Articulate a unified vision and concrete objectives for the WEE Funder Leaders Cohort
- Develop actionable pathways for collective funding, influence, and impact
